Conference Site and <br />Facilities <br />The Radisson Hotel in Downtown High Point is a full service <br />conference facility combining good old southern hospitality <br />with world class service and support. Located on Main <br />Street, the Radisson provides spacious rooms as well as a <br />fitness center, indoor heated pool, and whirlpool. <br />Poster sessions <br />.A.ccornmodations <br />Onsite lodging will be in the Radisson Hotel in Downrown High <br />Point. Take a left on Main Street (Hwy <br />311 south) and follow it inro Downrown High Point. The <br />Radisson will be on the left after High Street. <br />From I-85 take the 311 North .exit and follow it into down- <br />town High Point. The Radisson will be on the right after <br />Commerce Street. <br />Aeademsc Research: <br />Posters detailing work or ideas from organized research <br />efforts will be displayed throughout the weekend. On Friday <br />and Saturday evenings, authors will be available to discuss <br />their posters. <br />On-Farm Projec-tas: <br />We encourage attendees to share interesting on-farm projects <br />by detailing them in a poster. Posters should not be used to <br />advertise goods or services. Cr~cimery R~vivaf.Project is sponsoring a 4 <br />1 /2 hour professional cheese-making_workshop on Sunday at <br />the Goat Lady Dairy in Cliri'~ax, NC. Ginnie Tate will be the <br />insfivctor, and will orient the class toward people interested in <br />the possibility of starting a cheesemaking business. She will <br />demonstrate making a fresh goat cheese and a hard cheese, <br />and will cover how to go about setting up the business, regu- <br />lations, marketing, packaging, etc., as well as answer ques- <br />tions about cheesemaking in general. Ginnie and her family <br />have been making goat cheese for 4 years, milking 35-50 <br />goats, and market their products locally. The workshop is $20 <br />extra and is limited ro 20.
