Mr. McBroom wrote this covenant himself for the Grassy Creek subdivision, but the <br />Sawmill Rd. area is our neighborhood. Now Mr. McBroom is proposing to build a <br />chipping plant in the middle of a Residential Area. I'm sure I don't have to explain the <br />noise that will be produced by this plant. Even little chippers are noisy. This plant will be <br />a Nuisances to all the Residents in the area, NOT only on Sawmill Rd., but all the <br />Residences and Farms in the area. <br />The Sawmill Rd. area is a Residential/ Agricultural neighborhood. There are better than <br />50 HOMES with in a quarter mile of Mr. Mcbroom's proposed chipping plant. Fifty <br />homes where children play, go to school, Infants sleep and average citizens just want to <br />have a QUIET, PEACEFUL neighborhood. Mr. McBroom is the only one asking for the <br />zone change. Everyone I've talked to is against it. <br />Passing this rezoning request would destroy this treasure and rob hundreds of a <br />wonderful neighborhood. It would benefit one man and would. go against the wishes of <br />MOST if not ALL of the Citizens of Orange County in and around the Sawmill Rd. area. <br />Please deny the rezoning request. There are better places for a chipping facility where the <br />land has been zoned for industry.
