WE ARE WRITING TO YOU TO EXPRESS OUR <br />D <br />ISSAPPOINTMENT IN THE COUNTY'S DECISION TO REZONE OUR COMMUNITY. <br />IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION THAT THE <br />WILL ALLOW THE DEVELOPMENT OF NON - RESIDENTIAL OF OUR COMMUNITY <br />_RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES. <br />THE MAIN EXAMPLE IS THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PRIVATE LANDFILL AT THE LOCATION <br />OF PARCEL OF (436,036 SF) IN CEDAR GROVE TOWNSHIP. <br />AS YOU ARE WELL AWARE THIS PROPERTY IS ADJACENT TO OUR QUIET AND PEACEFUL <br />RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD. <br />IT IS ALSO OUR UNDERSTANDING THAT THE LANDFILL IN QUESTION IS ONLY TO BE <br />USED FOR LANDSCAPE DEBRIS i.e. Tree limbs, tree trunks and other natural debris. <br />SHOULD THIS COME TO PASS - WE WOULD LUCE TO KNOW HOW <br />MONITORED: THE FOLLOWING WILL BE <br />• HOW DOES THE COUNTY/STATE PLAN TO CONTROL THE NOISE POLLUTION <br />GENERATED BY THE HEAVY EQUIPM[ENT?.i-e. dumptrucks,woodchippers,bulldozers etc. <br />• HOW DOES THE COUNTY /STATE PLAN TO CONTROL THE EXCESSIVE TRAFFIC ALONG <br />SAWMILL RD? WHICH WILL BE THE MAJOR THOROUGHFARE ACCESSING THE SITE, <br />• HOW DOES THE COUNTY/STATE PLAN TO RE <br />LANDFILL SITE? GULATE AND INSPECT THE PROPOSED <br />HOW DOES THE COUNTY/STATE PLAN TO MAINTAIN THE <br />PREVENT FLOODING? NATURAL WATERSHED TO <br />WILL THE COUNTY/STATE GUARANTEE . THAT THERE WILL BE No UNLAWFUL <br />DUMPING OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS AT THIS SITE? <br />HOW DOES THE COUNTY /STATE PLAN TO ENSURE <br />THAT THERE WILL BE NO <br />ILLEGAL DUMPING OF HAZARDOUS MATERIALS ON THE <br />PROPOSED SITE? <br />HOW DOES THE COUNTY /STATE PLAN TO ENSURE THAT THERE WILL NOT BE ANY <br />SOIL OR WATER CONTAMINATION DUE TO ANY UNLAWFUL DUMPING OF <br />HAZARDOUS MATERIALS? <br />
