County Planning Board <br />cc: Craig Benedict, Planning Director <br />FROM: Karen Lincoln, Planner III <br />DATE: August 26, 1999 <br />SUBJECT: Ordinance Text Amendments (Cane Creek Watershed). <br />At the July 13, 1999, meeting the Planning Board had many questions regarding <br />the proposed text amendments to the Orange County Zoning Ordinance .and <br />Orange County Subdivision Regulations to implement new watershed protection <br />measures within Cane Creek watershed. The following lists questions posed by <br />the board and staff response to those questions. <br />1. What is the total acreage that will be affected by the proposed changes to <br />the zoning. ordinance? <br />Approximately 18,502 acres (90 %) of the 20,227 acre watershed is in <br />Bingham and Cheeks Townships, Orange County. <br />2.
