As you have indicated in your correspondence the road was <br />constructed as a private xoad served by a private easeaaent. Jn order to be eiigi'ble for State <br />Maintenance, the road must moet all NCDOT requirements for addition including but not limited <br />to lea' dedication by the property owner{s} of a 50' public of way and any necessary <br />drainage and sight distance easements. The conversion of a private subdivision road to a public <br />road is h'trely to itiquire additional consideration by Orange County. i' strongly recommend that <br />you contact the orange County Planning Department for further discussion if you Dave not <br />already done so. <br />Feel five to contact me if yvu have arty questions. <br />Sincerely, <br />Cc: I.
