The County and each municipality have the responsibility of <br />appointing two members each to this group, which will provide advice to the Board of <br />Commissioners regarding matters involving solid waste management policies. <br />Exhibit C of the interlocal agreement describes the composition and general responsibilities of <br />the Advisory Board. The BOCC .may wish to review the list of responsibilities in Exhibit C and <br />determine whetherthat list accurately captures the charge under which the Commissioners <br />wishes the Advisory Board to operate, or if there are additional specific points which the BOCC <br />wishes to include in the formal charge. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no direct financial impact on the County associated with the <br />establishment of a charge to the Solid Waste Advisory Board. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board of Commissioners <br />formally approve the charge to the Solid Waste Advisory Board in accordance with Exhibit C to <br />the Solid Waste Management Interlocal Agreement, or with an expanded list of responsibilities. <br />
