TOWN OF CHAPEL HILL Fax:919- 967 -8406 Nov 9 1999 13:55 P.O? <br />A RESOLUTION REGARDING FUTURE USE OF THE GREENE AND NEVILLE <br />TRACTS <br />(99- 11 -O81R * *) <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the Town of Chapel Hill that the Council <br />wishes to request the Orange County Commissioners to consider alternate sites for <br />transfer stations and other solid waste operations at a suitable site, and; <br />BE IT RESOLVED that if the Commissioners site a transfer station on the Green tract it <br />be a state of the art facility which addresses air pollution and noise concerns of the <br />neighbors, and; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council requests Orange County and Carrboro <br />enter into facilitated discussions as to how the remainder of the tract will be used. <br />i <br />`10 <br />/ r <br />.i <br />ism_ / � <br />113 <br />
