Summary <br />The details of the nutrient trading program are not complete and are still being <br />addressed. As such, amore-detailed proposal of how a partnership might work is <br />not yet possible. <br />At this time staff would like to enter into a dialogue with colleagues from the city <br />and towns about such an effort and attempt to build a partnership that meets the <br />municipalities' nutrient reduction needs and the County's conservation interests <br />and nutrient reduction needs. This may present a low-cost partnership <br />mechanism to achieve further conservation for New Hope Creek upstream of the <br />areas already protected. <br />
