TRUCK AND TRAFFIC COMPATIBILITY <br /> Definition - Add to the second sentence a definite reference to where the information can be <br /> found, as follows: <br /> Priority bicycle transportation routes (adopted April 1999) as shown in the 2030 Draft Orange <br /> County Comprehensive Plan, dated May 6, 2008, will also be included in the evaluation of traffic <br /> compatibility. <br /> 13. PROTECTED WATERSHED OVERLAY DISTRICT <br /> Consideration: Delete or revise second sentence, since not all protected areas are necessarily <br /> in WS-IV watersheds. <br /> Definition: Perhaps add a second sentence to the definition. Protected watershed overlay <br /> districts are currently defined and mapped by Orange County. <br /> COMMUNITY-SPECIFIC CRITERIA <br /> 10. TRAFFIC COMPATIBILITY <br /> Definition: Use the same wording as is being used in the Truck and Traffic Compatibility <br /> criterion (#5) for the Technical Criteria. <br /> Application: Use the same wording as is being used in the Truck and Traffic Compatibility <br /> driterion (#5) section for the Technical Criteria. <br /> Chair Jacobs made reference to the Technical Criteria, #7, and the change of presence <br /> of natural buffers. He said that the "i.e." should have two things and not just "hills." <br /> Chair Jacobs said that the consultant did a good job of tracking what the public and the <br /> County Commissioners said. <br /> PUBLIC COMMENT: <br /> Rev. Robert Campbell said that what he is concerned about now is that the Rogers- <br /> Eubanks Neighborhood Association submitted two resolutions to the Board of County <br /> Commissioners and he wants to know when there will be a notation of consideration for those <br /> resolutions and when they will be informed that the County Commissioners have actually read <br /> the resolutions. He said that he appreciated the level at which the Board is considering the <br /> • environmental concerns for the criteria. He said that if the environment is damaged beyond <br /> repair, it will affect the health of everyone. He said that it is important to have an environmental <br /> • document be a part of any site that is considered. <br /> Tracy Kuhlman said that she would like to address Technical Criterion #5, Truck and <br /> Traffic Compatibility. She read from this, "Sites with street or roadway connector access that <br /> do not currently or are not protected in the future to exhibit significant mid-day traffic <br /> compatibility conflicts with school bus, pedestrian, or bicycle traffic shall be ranked highest. <br />
