Copies of the Preliminary Report, <br />report of building issues, Stand Down Timeline, Franchise Ordinance, <br />Franchise Agreement, OCEMS Practice Policy, BLS Recertification Policy, <br />BLS Training Policy and the NC Administrative Code given to Chief <br />Matthews. <br />Discussed the application of the BLS Practice Policy, BLS Recertification <br />Policy and the BLS Training Policy in regard to OCRs. Chief Matthews <br />advises he understands the policies. <br />Chief Matthews expressed concerns regarding the Mandatory Updates <br />done in April 2008, which he was unable to attend. He has not received <br />information asked for in an earlier meeting with LT David Silfen regarding <br />a make up date for that training. Captain Woodward states volunteers also <br />have an opportunity for mandatory updates training through New <br />Employee Orientation when available. LT Joseph advised there was <br />additional training available through the Fire Departments. Chief Matthews <br />was unaware of this training opportunity previously. <br />• Ghief Matthews confirms the OCRs EMS roster given to Captain <br />Woodward is current and accurate. Scope of practice attended by all <br />members. <br />• Local, state, and federal requirements will be put on a tasking form <br />created by ES staff, which will assure all parties understand the language <br />and their individual requirements and responsibilities. <br />Care • Serve • Survive <br />
