(foi~nerly Orange Enterprises, Inc.). OE, Inc. is the <br />private, non-profit providing vocational services, community-based work experience, <br />employment opportunities, and in-house contract work for persons in Orange County <br />with disabilities or facing employment barriers. <br />Department of Social Services -Annual Contract for Supportive Employment <br />Services to Work First Clients, $15,000 <br />OE provides vocational evahiations, facility-based work adjustment, job placement <br />and follow-up for the hardest to place Worlc First participants. During the evaluation <br />period, the participant is paid minimum wage. The evaluation period is 6 weeks long. <br />The participant is given many opportunities to work and improve work habits. <br />2. Central Services -Annual Contract for Courier/1Vlail Services, $44,000 <br />3. Public Works -:Annual Contract for Custodial Services at Gateway Center and <br />Emergency Services Center, $62,900 <br />4. County Manager's Office/Budget.- A~znual Outside Agency grant agreement for <br />general support of service complement and support structures (school to work <br />transition, vocational counseling, job coaching aid job retention, supported <br />employment, etc.) for Orange County students aid adults, $63, 175. <br />Orange County also provided $100,000 per year for three years as part of the Elizabeth <br />Brady Road facility acquisition effort (FY06-FY08). <br />If there are additional questions or concerns, please let me know. <br />AREA CODE (919) 245-2300 ®688-7331 FAX (919) 644-3004 <br />Ext. 2300 <br />
