' He assured the Board that there is no censorship and aIL of the written comments <br />3 provided have been distributed to the Planning Board. <br />4 Commissioner Foushee said that she wants the .public to be clear on this. <br />5 <br />6 Chair Jacobs said that because this comes back to the County Commissioners on <br />7 October 7th. does not mean the business will be concluded. <br />8 A motion was made by Commissioner Foushee; seconded by Commissioner Carey to <br />9 close the public hearing from May 19, 2008; close this public hearing; and refer the draft Plan to <br />10 the Planning Board for a recommendation to be returned to the Board of County Commissioners <br />I 1 October 7, 2008. <br />12 Brian Ferrell suggested leaving the public hearing open for the purpose of receiving <br />13 comments from the Town of Chapel Hill. <br />14 Commissioner Foushee amended the motion to include leaving the public hearing open <br />15 until comments are heard from the Town of Chapel Hill and any other towns in Orange County. <br />16 Commissioner Carey seconded. <br />17 Tom Altieri said that the public hearing is being held open specifically to receive <br />18 additional comments from municipalities as opposed to further written comments submitted by <br />19 the public. <br />20 VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />21 <br />22 D.
