These efforts can be <br />expanded by improving surface water <br />mapping and collecting additional water <br />quality data to inform development <br />management efforts. <br />The County has set an ambitious waste <br />reduction goal of 61%1. Orange County has <br />surpassed state mandates for waste reduction <br />in 1996 and 2001. Continued efforts to <br />identify waste reduction opportunities is <br />supported by the County.
