Increasing <br />bus service, designating public transportation <br />nodes throughout the County with facilities <br />to accommodate pedestrians, park. and ride <br />lots, and bicycle racks all contribute to <br />mobility options. <br />These initiatives reinforce each other. Taken <br />together, they form a platform. of sustainable <br />practices upon which current and future <br />generations of Orange County residents can <br />build productive lives. <br />work. <br />Particular attention must be given to <br />increasing choice and opportunity for seniors <br />and individuals with disabilities by <br />expanding public and special transportation <br />services.
