The Rogers-Eubanks communities are vital to the development of Orange County and have been forced to live with a landfill that collects the gargage of ALL Orange County residents. The community needs remedies for the following issues: 1) Ending the 3 S year burden of hosting solid waste facilities by the Rogers-Eubanks neighborhood; 2) Providing funding for provision of safe, public, regulated drinking water and sewer service to all households in the Rogers-Eubanks neighborhood; 3) Providing funding for other basic municipal services to residents of the Rogers-Eubanks neighborhood including, but not limited to, paved roads, paved sidewall~s; stormwater drains, street lights, public bus service (including covered bus stops), emergency protection services (i.e., fire, police protection, ambulatory and rescue squad). Here, we don't just talk environmental responsibility, we have free buses. Here, we don't just talk tolerance, we elect LGBT leaders. I'm ready to see us turn our words into action, so I can say to myself of my new home: "Here, we don't just talk justice, we right old wrongs and ensure justice for all our neighbors, even when it's tough."
