Willing Road just south of Forest Avenue, from 4,800 average <br />daily traffic (ADT) in1997 to 6,700 ADT in 2007, while traffic on US 70 east of Efland <br />Cedar Grove Road has increased only 2%, from 4,800 ADT in 1997 to 4,900 ADT in <br />2007. The Interstate 85/US 70 Connector just east of Efland is not accessible to <br />traffic on eastbound US 70. This project would enable traffic from northwest Orange <br />County to access Interstate 85 more easily without risking the many points of traffic <br />conflict through Efland. <br />3: SR 1004 SR 1357 (Efland Cedar Grove Road)' straighten and make turn lane <br />improvements. Traffic increased approximately 160% on Efland Cedar Grove Road <br />just north of US 70 during the period from 1997 to 2006, from 2,000 ADT in 1997 to <br />5,100 AADT in 2006. Most of the increase is due fio traffic from the northwestern <br />part of Orange County using Efland Cedar Grove Road as an alternative to NC $6 to <br />reach Interstates 40/85. <br />
