e. One (1) parking space for every three hundred (300) of floor area <br />within a Government facility. <br />f. One (1) space per every room in a hotel plus one (1) per shift <br />employee <br />g. All parking lot spaces, unless other wise designated, shall be: Nine (9) <br />feet by Eighteen (18) feet. <br />27. Required parking spaces may be reduced by no less than thirty percent <br />(30%) within a given District or other development area in accordance with <br />the following: <br />a. The spaces allotted for each individual use shall be shown on the <br />application for a Zoning Compliance Permit, <br />b. The distance from the farthest allotted space to the main entrance of a <br />structure housing the use that it is intended to serve not to be more <br />than four hundred (400) feet, <br />c. The spaces shall be located within the same District or within four <br />hundred (400) feet of the use to qualify for a reduction on the required <br />parking, <br />d. Twenty percent (20%) may be compact car parking with a dimension <br />of seven and a half (7'/2) feet in width and sixteen (16) feet in depth. <br />28. All required parking spaces shall be improved with asphalt, concrete or <br />other similar material as originally installed and approved by the County, <br />29. Handicapped parking shall be provided in accordance with the standards of <br />the State of North Carolina Building Code. <br />30. Off-street loading (loading berths) shall be provided in accordance with the <br />following standards: <br />a. One (1) space for each five thousand (5,000) square feet of floor area <br />not to exceed three (3) berths, <br />b. A loading berth shall adhere to the following dimensional <br />requirements: <br />i. A minimum width of twelve (12) feet, <br />ii. A minimum depth of sixty (60) feet, and <br />iii.
