Current total enrollment for the 2006-07 school year is 11,092. Yearly data for the past 6 years as well as the current actual enrollment are shown below in Figure A8 for CHCCS. Figure A8. Unlike Orange County Schools, the projections based on historic growth adequately capture new growth throughout the school district. As shown, crxrrent enrollment in CHCCS is 11,092. By the school year 2016- 17, CHCCS is projected to have a total enrollment of 13,658. This represents an average annual growth rate of approximately 2.3 percent and a growth of 2,566 students over the ten-year period. Yearly detail by school level is provided in Figure A9 below.
