The Arclrites's action shall be taken <br />with such ieasottable promptness as to cause no delay in die Work or in the activities of the Owner, Contractor or <br />separate eontt~ectors, while allowing stlf6cient time in the Architect's professional judgment to permit adoquate <br />review. Review of such submittals is not conduced for the purpose of determining the accuracy and completeness of <br />other details each as dimensions and quantities, or for substantiating instructions for installation or performance of <br />equipment or systems, all of which remain the responsibility of the Contractor as requited by the Contractl>oeitmettts. <br />The Architect's review shall not constitute approval of satiety precautions or, unless odrerwise specifically stated by- <br />the Architect, of any cxfnsuuction means, methods, tt:chuiques, segttenoes or procedures. The Architect's approval of a <br />specific ibom shalt trot indicate approval of an assembly of which the item is a component. <br />§ 2.8.12 If professional design services or certifications by a design professional related to systems, materials or <br />eq»iptnem are specifically required of cite Contractor by cite Contras Documents, the Arcltitecx shall specify <br />appropriate performance and design criteria that such services must satisfy. Shop Drawings and other submittals <br />related to the Work designed or certified by the design professional retainedby cite Contractor shall boar such <br />pmfessionak's written approval when submitted to the Architect The Architect shall be etrtitted to rely upon the <br />adequacy, accuracy and completeness of the services, certifications or approvals performed by such design <br />grofessiotrnls. <br />§ 2.6.13 The Architect shall prepare Change Orders and Constraction Change Directivos, with supporting <br />documentation and data ig deemed necessary by the Architect as provided in Sections 3.1. l and 3.3.3, for the Owtrer's <br />approval and execution in accordance with the Contract Documents, and'may authorizo minor changes ib the Work <br />not involving an adjustment to the Contras Sum or an exbensien of the Contract Time which are consistent with the <br />infant of the Coniras Documents. <br />§ 2.6.14 The Archites shall condos inspesiona to determine the data or dates of Substantial Completion and the date <br />of final completion, shall ireeive from the Contractor and forward to the Owner, for the Owner's ieview and records, <br />writtca wa>ranties and related docur~tta rogoired by the Contract Documents and assembled by the Contractor, and <br />Inlt AIA ooa:mant 6181"' -1997.
