• COMPLIANCE ORIENTATION TRAINING <br />____ <br />- - ~ . <br />~~~1 <br />Employees must report work hours information that is timely, complete, and accurate. <br />Any falsification of hours could lead to incorrect payroll or billing documentation and/or <br />rPimhutsement ~r <br />ResCare and individual employees. <br />(i011flIC'tS CAF ~ <br />A conflict of interest can occur when an employee's private interests interfere in any way - <br />with ResCare's interests. A conflict of interest may also exist if any outside activities <br />involve the use of ResCare resources or distract you from your job performance. An <br />employee's obligation to conduct ResCare's business in an honest and ethical manner <br />includes the ethical handling of actual or apparent conflicts of interest between personal <br />relationships and ResCare relationships. You must remain free of conflicts of interest for <br />the proper performance of your responsibilities. <br />Before malting any investment, accepting any position or benefits, participating in any <br />business transaction or arrangement, or otherwise acting in a manner that creates or <br />appears to create a conflict of interest, an employee must make full disclosure of all facts <br />and circumstances to the ResCare Legal Deparmient and obtain the prior written approval <br />p,f RPC~9rA C`~+r,P+~l (~n»ncc.l Fm.,1nnPPC ora glen rPrniirP~ to r1~SC1 cP ancr rl~tancrP~ <br />circ~?*nstances relating to actual or apparent conflicts of interest <br /> <br />ResCare places a high priority on our relationship with the people we support. You <br />must maintain the highest level of professional conduct when building relationships <br />with the people we support, their families, and their friends. You must treat all persons we <br />support with equal respect and avoid having "favorites" or treating a person we <br />support "special" in relation to other people we support.
