The <br />County issued the first installment of $19.175 million in general obligation <br />bonds from the 2001 authorization in April of 2003. This included $1.3 million <br />of Affordable Housing bonds and $3.625 million of Parks and Open Space <br />Bonds. The second installment in August of 2004 totaled $19.74 million in <br />general obligation bonds from the 2001 authorization. This issuance included <br />$1.3 million of Affordable Housing bonds and $10.875 million of Parks and <br />Open Space Bonds. There is a remaining authorization to issue up to $5.5 <br />million Parks and Open Space bonds and $1.4 million Affordable Housing <br />bonds. This authorization will be fulfilled by the issuance of either alternative <br />financing or general obligation debt in the early part of 2009. <br />
