APPENDIX <br />pRq~ SCHOOL IMPACT FEES: Ctwee~ Hiu.-C~sORO CttY SCHOOLS <br />Orange County, North Carolino <br />PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENT ENROLLMENT TRENDS AND PROJECTIONS <br />This section provides a summary of historical enrollment trends and projected enrollment <br />growth for each school district. <br />ORANGE COUNTY SCHOOLS <br />Historical Enrollment <br />Since the 2000-01 school year, enrollment in Orange County Schools has increased by a total of <br />563 students with some fluctuation from yeaz to year.. Current total enrollment for the 2006-07 <br />school year is 6,817. Yearly data for the past 6 years as well as the current actual enrollment are <br />shown below in Figure A6 for Orange County Schools. <br />Figure A6. This is an additional level of analysis than is <br />currently provided as part of the County's current Schools Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance <br />(SAPFO). The SAPFO system projects enrollment for two separate functions or activities.
