30 <br />PLANNING BOARD EVIDENCE SUBMITTED <br />FINDINGS Findings: TO SUPPORT FINDINGS <br />b) Method and adequacy of <br />police, fire and rescue squad <br />protection. <br />x Yes No <br />The Planning Board voted <br />unanimously to make an <br />affirmative finding based on <br />the following: <br />The Caldwell Rural Fire <br />Department will provide fire <br />protection. <br />Rescue .services will be <br />provided by Orange County <br />EMS. <br />The Orange County Sheriffs <br />Department shall provide <br />police protection. <br />The Planning Board received <br />correspondence from all <br />involved parties on this matter. <br />The Fire Marshall has made <br />several requests for <br />modification to the site plan to <br />address his concerns over: <br />1. The provision of a <br />water source for fire <br />protection for the <br />school, <br />2. That the roadway <br />allowing for access to <br />the school be <br />widened to a <br />minimum of twenty <br />(20) foot to allow for <br />emergency vehicle <br />access, <br />3. Fire lanes should be <br />installed to access <br />the classrooms from <br />the parking lot area. <br />A recommended condition on <br />the approval of the SUP <br />request is that any and all <br />required improvements <br />deemed necessary by the Fire <br />Marshall be incorporated into <br />a revised site plan prior to <br />submittal of a Building Permit <br />Application. <br />ADMINISTRATION <br />RECOMMENDED <br />Findings: <br />x Yes No <br />
