LOOT, '1a !J6

Officers of the Town of Mebane requested that the Board of Commissioners
consider the relocation of the proposed water line, in the industrial park,
to Melville Furniture Company. The requested plans would be to place the
line to Center Street, instead of extending the existing line at Piedmont Steel
& Tube Company northward to Melville Furniture Company. The requested new
route would double the cost of the installation, but more persons could be
served by the said water line. This matter was taken under advisement byh
Board.
There, being no further business to come before the Board the meeting was
adjourned to meet again on Monday, November 11, 1968 at 7:30 P.M. in the
Commissioners Room.
Harvey D.
