Box 8181 <br />ldillsbomugh, NC 27278 <br />Dear Chair Jacobs: <br />Subject: Board Appointment <br />At the June l la' meeting of the Advisory Board on Aging the Board considered all <br />applications for membetsluip to the Advisory Board and unanimously approved <br />recommending Mr. Don Willhoit for appointment to the Position #2 At large <br />representative that will become vacant on Jame 30, 2008. <br />Mr. Willhoit has vast experience as a volunteer. Most recently serving on the JOCCA <br />Board of I?irectors, the Master Aging Plan Steering Committee, and currently serves on <br />the IFC board. He served as a County Commissioner when the BOCG formed the Orange <br />County Advisory Board on Aging and the Department on Aging. <br />Mr. Willhoit is willing to serve and would be a tremendous asset as a member to the <br />Advisory Board on Aging. <br />Thank~you for youur consideration of his nomination.. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Jack Chestnut, Chair <br />Orange County Advisory Board on Aging <br />
