`~J <br />1. Management of construction traffic. <br />It appears that the only likely access to the proposed subdivision is from Cabe Ford <br />Road, a road unsuited to be used as. a parking or staging area for roadway <br />construction or for stor~.ge o€vehicles during construction of homes. Further, there is <br />no turn around at the end of Cabe Ford Road, which may lead to the use of private <br />driveways, yards and private roads as turn-grounds for construction traffic <br />REQUESTS: <br />A. THAT APPLICANT BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A CONSTRUCTION <br />MANAGEMENT PLAN THAT WILL, AMONG OTHER THINGS, LIMIT <br />THE STORAGE AND MOVEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION VEHICLES <br />AND EQUIPMENT. <br />B. THAT APPLICANT BE REQUIRED TO PUT INTO PLACE SIGNS <br />RESTRICTING CONSTRUCTION TRAFFIC TO THE EASTERN <br />SECTION OF CABE FORD ROAD BETWEEN PLEASANT GREEN AND <br />THE ENTRANCE TO "CABE CROSSING." <br />C. THAT APPLICANT INSURE THAT CONSTRUCTION OR OTHER <br />VEHICLES NOT BE PARKED OR LEFT OVERNIGHT ON THE <br />SHOULDER OF CABE FORD ROAD, GRADY LANE OR VIRGIE LANE. <br />D. THAT PERMITS TO CONSRUCT BOTH INFRASTRUCTURE AND NEW <br />HOMES PROHIBIT THE USE OF PRIVATE DRIVEWAYS, ROADS <br />AND YARDS---EVEN FOR THE PURPOSES OF TURNING AROUND. <br />E. THAT THE OWNER/DEVELOPER BE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE <br />FOR ANY DOCUMENTED DAMAGE TO PRIVATE PROPERTY. <br />F. .THAT APPLICANT POST A PERFORMANCE BOND TO PROVIDE <br />FUNDS FOR ANY NEEDED REPAIRS OF CABE FORD ROAD. REPAIRS <br />SHOULD SATISFY NC DOT SPECIFICATIONS. REPAIRS SHOULD NOT <br />ALTER THE EXISTING VISUAL AND PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS OF THE <br />ROAD. <br />G. THAT APPLICANT TAKE NOTE OF SENSITIVE WETLANDS AT THE <br />ENTRANCE TO THE NEW SUBDIVISION, NIINIMIZE DISTURBANCE <br />OF THOSE WETLANDS AND RETURN WETLANDS TO A CONDITION <br />AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO THEIR CURRENT CONDITION. WE TRUST <br />THAT THE COUNTY AND STAFF WILL: BE VIGILANT IN PROTECTING <br />THIS SMALL BUT VALUABLE WETLANDS AREA. <br />
