Solid Waste staff has conditionally approved the Subdivision Plan and related information submitted for <br />this project per 3/13/2008 subdivision plan from Phil Post and Associations subject to the following <br />condition: A Solid Waste Management Plan for Landclearing should be submitted prior to <br />construction. <br />Pre-construction Meetino Stipulation: <br />2. We recommend that the applicant be stipulated as a condition of permit issuance to hold the pre-demolition <br />and pre-construction conferences with Orange County Solid Waste staff. <br />Overhead wires: <br />3. We recommend the property owner address refuse service access in relation to the height of any overhead <br />wires at the entrance to the collection area. Any overhead wires must be raised to a minimum of 18'and any <br />other overhead impediment(s) to access will need to be raised to a minimum height of 16' or relocated before <br />service vehicles could service any waste through this route. <br />Curbside Recycling; <br />4. If roads are public streets, constructed to NCDOT standards, Orange Community Recycling intends to <br />provide regular curbside recycling services to all single-family-type residences in this proposed development <br />at such time it is included in the Orange County recycling program collection service area. (Rural Route 4) <br />LCID: <br />We recommend the applicant provide the name(s) of the permitted waste disposal facilit(ies) to which any <br />landclearing or demolition waste will be delivered. This information should be supplied, as soon as determined <br />and prior to start of work, in a letter to the Solid Waste Department or at the pre-construction conference. <br />NOTES TO BE PLACED ON FINAL PLANS: <br />Construction Waste: <br />1. By Orange County Ordinance, clean wood waste, scrap metal and corrugated cardboard, all present in <br />construction waste, must be recycled. <br />2. By Orange County Ordinance, all haulers of construction waste must be properly licensed. <br />3. Prior to any demolition or construction activity on the site the applicant will hold apre-demolition/pre- <br />construction conference with the County's Solid Waste staff.
