Extending the analyses to other metropolitan areas is a first step. Extending the <br />analysis from vehicles and VMT to vehicle trips and vehicle starts would increase its applicability <br />to air quality analysis. Expanding the analysis from just the characteristics of residential <br />neighborhoods to the concentration or dispersal of jobs or commerce would extend its utility to <br />air quality analysis. ` <br />This study was made in order to quantify the transportation savings of average families living in <br />convenient location efficient neighborhoods, allowing them to qualify for Location Efficient <br />MortgagesSM.
