Peoples <br />Subject: comments from the community <br />Hello and thank you for the opportunity to make comments about the Orange County growth plan. <br />I realize that the county needs a broad tax base and that businesses provide that. I travel across the <br />country and there are so many Big Box stores that it's tough to tell which state I'm in -Phoenix? <br />Jersey? Florida? -because they are all starting to look the same. I love local business and support <br />that as often as possible; for example, I shop at the Farmer's Market and Weaver St. Market. I would <br />hate to see Hillsborough/Orange County start looking like everywhere else - with a Barnes and Nobles <br />and a Target at every corner.
