Transportation energy is <br />greatly reduced by aggregating facilities so <br />that people can walk or bike or take public <br />transit to most if not all daily activities. <br />Vertical development forms reduce the <br />footprint of the built environment, <br />conserving energy and mitigating impacts <br />on natural systems.
