This community appears to have <br />been formerly planted for pines ,and is in the process of succession. The pines are <br />approximately 30 years old with an average diameter at breast height (DBH) between 8- <br />10 inches. The primary species observed are included in Table 4. <br />Table 4. No protected species or habitat was observed within the project <br />area. <br />4.0 Conclusion <br />Natural communities (Dry-Mesic Oak-Hickory forest and Piedmont/Low Mountain <br />Alluvial Forest) comprised the majority of the property (approximately 71 percent of the <br />properry). The remaining 29 percent is comprised of disturbed communities (Disturbed <br />Disturbed/Maintained and Pine Plantation).
