The petition was filed with the intent of making a presentation at the August 25, 2008 <br />Quarterly Public Hearing (QPH). On June 24, 2008 at its regular meeting the Board of County <br />Commissioners approved placing this item on the August 2008 QPH agenda. During the <br />intervening months staff has worked with the petitioner, held a Neighborhood Information <br />Meeting and also had discussions with the project engineer, NCDOT, OAWS, and adjoining <br />property owners concerning issues beyond the actual boundaries of the subject property. <br />
