This will be emailed to the County <br />Commissioners. <br />She said that the County has hired an Emergency Services Director who will be starting <br />next Monday. Also, the County has begun advertising for an in -house staff attorney, and they <br />are getting very close to choosing an Economic Development Director. <br />10. Appointments <br />a. Affordable Housing Advisory Board — New Appointment <br />The Board considered making a new appointment to the Affordable Housing Advisory <br />Board. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Foushee, seconded by Commissioner Carey to <br />appoint Lynda Baker to a partial term ending June 30, 2010. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />b. Arts Commission — New Appointment <br />The Board considered making a new appointment to the Arts Commission. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner Gordon to <br />appoint Gordon Jameson to a full term ending March 31, 2011. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />C. Human Services Advisory Commission — New Appointment <br />The Board considered making a new appointment to the Human Services Advisory <br />Commission. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner Gordon to <br />appoint Suzanne Deobald to a partial term ending March 31, 2009. <br />VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br />11.
