Paul Carr, Superintendant of <br />said school unit and Franklin D. Giles met in Joint session with the Board of Commissioners <br />for the purpose of appointing a replacement for 14. E. Thompson on the Orange County <br />Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. <br />Upon motion of Commissioner Ward, seconded by Roger Marshall, it was moved and <br />unanimously adopted that J. Temple Gobbel of Chapel Hill, North Carolina be ap^oi.nted <br />to fill the unexpired term of W. E. Thompson on the Orange County Alcoholic Beverage <br />Control Board. Said term effective August 1, 1968. <br />A. Alley, Consulting Engineer on the water-sewer project, filed a cost report <br />of said-project with the Board. <br />"The installation of the water and sewer improvements to serve the Industrial Park <br />area east of Mebane, N. C., is now complete and should be turned over'to the Town of <br />Mebane for maintenance and operation. <br />The following is a resume of the project construction and engineering costs taken <br />from our records: <br />1.
