BCC( 7 FACE 122 MINUTES OF THE ORANGE COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />June 25, 1968 <br />The Board of Commissioners for the County of orange, North Carolina met in <br />adjourned session on June 25, 1968 at 8-P.M. in the Commissioners Room at the <br />Courthouse in Hillsborough, North Carolina. <br />Members Present: Chairman Harvey D. Bennett, and Commissioners William C. Ray, <br />Carl M. Smith, Henry S. Walker and Ira A. Ward. <br />Members Absent: None <br />This meeting was held for the purpose of reviewing the 1968-1969 budget. <br />Tom Ward, Director of Public Welfare and members of the Welfare Board were <br />present to present the nropused 1968-1969 Welfare Budget. Also present were members <br />of the Chapel Hill School Board to present their 1968--1969 School Budget. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board said meeting was adjourned <br />to meet again on Thursday, June 27, 1968. <br />Harvey D. Bennett, and Co=riissioners William C. Ray, <br />Carl M. Smith, Henry S. Walker and Ira A. Ward. <br />Members Absent: None <br />This meeting was held for the purpose of reviewing the 1968-1969 budget. <br />Discussion ensued concerning the County School System and the Chapel Hill Library. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board said meeting was <br />adjourned to meet again on Friday, June 28, 1968. <br />Harvey D.
