13 <br />0 <br />*IV -B -2. <br />*Amended <br />1/17/79 In reviewing subdivision proposals,. the Planning Board shall consider the <br />9 /4 /90 overall design of the proposal in light of the suitability of the land. for <br />1/6/92 development to insure that the platting and development of the subdivision <br />wiII not create a danger to the health, safety, and welfare of Orange County <br />residents. <br />Land suitability shall be determined by an investigation of conditions <br />including but not limited to flood prone areas, soil 'drainag'e, drainage <br />Patterns, slope, historic sites, and unique natural areas. The investigations <br />shall be carried out by the Planning Board, the Planning Department, or <br />other agencies or individuals having the appropriate technical expertise, <br />including those listed in Section III- D -2 -b. <br />t <br />
