We wish to advise thaz the final plans received at this <br />office are hereby approved. Pursuant to this approval, this office will require you W make the owner/developer <br />aware of the following requirements beforo starting any construction. <br />I . Prior to any consttvction of any new access or alteration of any e:cisting access within the right of way, the <br />developer/owner is required to secure a permit with this office. !t is the responsibility of the ownerldeveloper <br />to obtain a permit. <br />?. Dunn; the construction, it is the responsibility of the owneNdeveloper to provide verification certifying that the <br />roadway surface, drainage, and seeding satisfies the approved design outside the State's right of way. <br />3. When workittg within the State's right of way, the owneddeveloper will contact the Graham District Of~'ice <br />before each of the following phases: (A) Drainage, (B) Grading, (C) Placement of base, (D) Paving, and (Ic) <br />Seeding. Failure to notify this offtde before each phase of construction may justify verification terrified and <br />sinned by a professional engineer. <br />4. In accordance with the General Statute 136-102.2, new roads are not eligible for the State Maintenance system <br />unless certain requirements are met. An explanation of these requirements can be found on pages l3. ld, and <br />I S of the current (January 2000) NCDOT Subdivision Roads Manual, Particular attention should be placed on <br />items ?
