Alex McMahon be reappointed to the <br />Health Planning Council of Central North Carolina for a three year term, beginning <br />June 1, 1968 through May 1, 1971, commencing at the expiration of his current term. <br />It was moved, seconded, and adopted that Ben Loeb of Colony Woods Subdivision <br />be reappointed to the Colony Woods Fire District Board of Commissioners for a three <br />year term, beginning February 1, 1968 through January 1, 1971. Said term will <br />commence at the expiration of his current term. <br />It was moved, seconded, and adopted that Leo Wagoner of Colony Woods Subdivision <br />be appointed to fill the unexpired term of George Coltrane on the Colony Wrnods Fire <br />District Board of Commissioners. Said tam will expire on February 11 1969. <br />It was moved, seconded, and adopted that Forrest Heath be appointed to the <br />Orange County Board of Adjustments for a three year term beginning February 27, 1968 <br />through February 1, 1971. <br />The Board directed that the following contract change orders for the Welfare <br />Building be signed: <br />1. Plumbing Contract $608.60 - Additional rock extration for water line <br />2. Water and Sewerage Improvement - $218.15 - Extending fire hydrants. <br />The Board directed the clerk to write the Town of Hillsborough and request that <br />parking on the South side of Margaret Lane between Churton Street and Court Street <br />be prohibited. <br />The County Administrator was directed to write the engineers employed by the <br />Water and Sewerage improvement project and request an explanation of the bill <br />received by Orange County from Mebane Home Telephone Company in the amount of <br />$499.35 for damages to the companies lines. <br />Upon motion duly made and unanimously passed, the Board adjourned to meet at <br />7:30 o'clock P.M. on Thursday, May 9, 1968, at the home of George Spransy in <br />Dogwood Acres, Chapel Hill, N. C., for the purpose of holding joint meeting with <br />representative of the State Board of Health on petition for the establishment of <br />Dogwood Acres Sanitary District. <br />Harvey D.
