We wish to advise that fire final plans received at this <br />office are hereby approved, Prasuant ro this approval, this office will require you to make the owner/developer <br />aware of the following requirements before starting any construction. <br />I. Prior to any construction of any new access or alteration of any e.cisting access within the right of way, the <br />developer/owner is required to secure a permit with this office. It is the responsibility of the ownerldeveloper <br />to obtain a permit, <br />?. During the cotrsvuctian, it is me responsibiliry of the owner/developer ro provide verification eertifying that the <br />roadway surface, draitrage, and seeding satisfies the approved design outside the State's right of way. <br />'• When working within the Staze's right of way, the owner/developerwill contaetthe Gtalram District Office <br />before each of the following Phase: (A) Drainage, (B) Grading, (C) Placement of base. (D) Paving, and (E) <br />Seeding. Failure m nodCy this office before each phase of construction may justify vetzfication certified and <br />sinned by a professional engineer, <br />4. In accordance with the General Statute 136-102.2, new roads are not eligible for flu State Maintenance system <br />unless certain requirements are met, An exp4anatian of these requirements can be found on pages l3. l ~1. and <br />I S of the current (January 3000) NCDOT Subdivision Roads Manual. Particular attention should be placed on <br />items ? (petition for addition), 3, b, and 7 (occupied housing requirement), !0, t 1, l?, and 13. <br />P, ~.
