Shaping Orange County's Future <br />Benedict reported that there would be a public hearing on August <br />28, 2000 and the Shaping Orange County's Future report will be <br />heazd. <br />AGENDA TTE #$: SUBDIVISIONS <br />a. Preliminary Plans <br />(1) The Woodlands <br />(Chapel Hill Township - 41 Lots) <br />Chair Allison said that the boazd agreed on everything but the turn lane on Jones Ferry Road <br />Benedict gave an overview of this plan. It was taken to the County Commissioners a couple of <br />weeks ago, and the Boazd, even after an explanation, did not understand that the subdivision was <br />adequate, but that the vote was split on the turn lane issue. The applicant agreed to put in the left <br />turn lane after the planning Boazd meeting and before the Board of County Commissioners' <br />meeting. He asked if the Planzung Board would approve this plan since the applicant was willing <br />to include the turn lane, He said that the Planning Board could have one vote concerning the <br />subdivision and one vote concerning the turn lane. <br />PURPOSE:.
