24 <br />E <br />The GTR may deny payment if he/she determines that <br />substantial data may not available upon which to make <br />the reasonable or no reasonable cause determination or <br />if the agency does not provide acceptable documentation <br />to the GTR regarding the next action it plans to take <br />with respect to the reasonable cause case. <br />Pa ent for Post Cause Activities and Char ed Cases <br />Agencies may receive additional funds for activities <br />they carry out after a cause finding is made or after a <br />charge is issued. The additional activities must be <br />documented and have dates entered in TEAPOTS where <br />required. <br />Post Cause Activities <br />1. Notification by the Agency's legal office that <br />the cause finding has been "accepted" by legal, <br />and a legal review is being undertaken; <br />2. Verification of the attorney(s) time dedicated <br />to the complaint; and <br />3. Verification of supporting activities <br />undertaken by the legal staff (i.e., additional <br />investigation, preparation of reports, <br />discovery, local transportation costs, <br />transcript services, and other activities <br />related to supporting the cause determination <br />of the Agency). <br />For Char ed Cases <br />1. The charge must be a specific written document <br />issuing the charge <br />2. The charge mus+:.be signed by the appropriate <br />Agency official; and <br />- 3. The charge must offer the election process, if <br />applicable. <br />SEE.FVND Eli ibilit <br />If the GTR determines that all of the material required <br />in this Section II has been provided and is acceptable, <br />the case may be counted against the agency's ten <br />required cases as fully investigated for eligibility <br />for SEE funds (ref 111.305 (5)) . <br />
