The subject property (Tax Map Number 7.18..27D) contains 12.76 acres and is located <br />immediately west of the existing landfill on the north side of Eubanks Road. It is zoned Rural Buffer and <br />designated Rural Buffer on the Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan. The existing landfill is in the Chapel <br />Hill Transition Area on the Joint Planning Area Land Use Plan. <br />Existing Special Use <br />• A Class A Special Use Permit was issued on the above referenced property on May 5, 1997. The Special <br />Use Permit included the construction of a 4000 square foot vehicle maintenance building, the processing of <br />yard waste and storm debris on an ongoing basis, and the processing of recyclable materials which included <br />white appliances, tires and scrap metal. <br />
