RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board take the following action: <br />1. Authorize the purchase of 228 S. Churton Street, Hillsborough for use as offices for the <br />Department of Purchasing and Central Services; and <br />2. Authorize the Manager to contract for professional services as may be necessary to carry <br />out the retrofit of the space; <br />3. Authorize the Purchasing Director to award bids for renovation work that exceed her <br />authorization limit but would be necessary to commence between July 1, 2000 and August <br />15, 2000; and to report same to the Board of Commissioners; <br />4. Approve a Reimbursement Resolution; and <br />5. Approve the capital project ordinance to support such action. <br />
