The first
phase will result in the Web site redesign. The second phase will result in deployment of new Web pages
for departments that do not now have a Web presence and begin the transition to staff maintenance of
Web content. The third phase will result in redesign of the County Intranet site.
The IT Committee has reviewed this approach and proposal at two of its recent meetings. Their support of
the Web Redesign Project is indicated in the attachment.
FISCAL IMPACT: The FY 1.999-2000 IT Plan CIP Project includes funds for the Citizen and Board
Access initiative to cover the cost of the first phase of this contract, in the amount of $58,715.
