Many o the slides are damaged, outdated or of <br />poor quality. The equipment used to present the s ide show is heavy, difficult to transport, old <br />and in need of repair or replacement. <br />In April, May and June, staff talked with represent tives of five video production companies in <br />the Triangle area. As a result, staff met with repr sentatives from two video production <br />companies and reviewed their proposals. Final co t estimates from the two companies were <br />substantially the same. The project concept docu ent, demonstration tape and references <br />provided by Horizon Video Productions, Inc. locat d in Durham were judged to be superior. <br />
