20 <br />The blocked areas on the accompanying plat are the limits of the provisionally suitable soils as evaluated by the Orange County Health <br />Department <br />It should be noted that all lots having a conventional drain field with pump are reviewed at a minimum of every five years by the health, <br />department as required by 1SA NCAC 18A .1961 (Maintenance of Sewage Systems). <br />Conventional Systems are placed in areas with 36 inches or more of provisionally suitable characteristics. <br />Shallow Trench Conventional Systems are placed in areas with 30 inches or more of provisionally suitable characteristics. <br />Ultra Shallow Trench Conventional Systems are placed in areas with 24 inches, or more of provisionally suitable characteristics and a 6- <br />inch soil cap is placed over the trenches. <br />
