STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br />This Contract dated , 2000, between OCR, Inc. (the "Raceway") and <br />the County of Orange (the "County") for joint and cooperative arrangements for the <br />provision of emergency medical services at certain Raceway events. <br />WITNESSETH <br />WHEREAS, the County and the Raceway propose to work jointly on matters of <br />concern or interest; and <br />WHEREAS, certain events at the Raceway bring spectators to Orange County <br />to enjoy the events; and <br />WHEREAS, the provision of adequate emergency medical caze at such events is <br />a matter of mutual concern and interest to the Raceway and the County; and <br />WHEREAS, detailed joint and cooperative arrangements with respect to such <br />events will mutually benefit the Raceway and the County; and <br />WHEREAS, the County and the Raceway desire to provide such cooperative <br />emergency medical care; <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and the mutual covenants <br />and conditions set forth below, the County and the Raceway agree as follows: <br />1. The County agrees to provide emergency caze providers certified at the -- -_ _ .__ __ _ _ <br />Emergency Medical Technician and/or Pazamedic level for events at the Raceway <br />as outlined in the Orange County Speedway 2000 Racing Schedule (Attachment A). <br />2.
