This season, the Raceway will conduct approximately seventeen (17) events at the <br />Kartway that will require medical coverage. The proposed contract details coverage for this <br />facility consisting of one ambulance with two or three attendants. The proposed contract rate is <br />$45 per hour with one-hour of travel time also charged at the same rate. No County <br />paramedics would be assigned to this track. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: The County's costs would be covered by the hourly charges as outlined <br />in the proposed contract. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS): The Manager recommends that the Board authorize the Chair to <br />sign the contract. <br />
