Columbia St. <br />Chapel Hill, NC 2751b <br />pear Sir or Madam: <br />Ab~.r I~fe Ce+~i <br />~~~ <br />c~ee ~ n~c a?s~~ <br />~~~ <br />The Abundant Life Center is seeking a grant in the amount of one hundred twenty five <br />thousand dollars ($125,000.00) for the retovation of its facilities to adequately and <br />effectively continue its service to the community in Providing housing Sor our <br />"Low-income high risk" individuals. <br />Housing for "Low-income high risk",individuals is a great need in Chapel Hill; however, <br />the high costs of living to these individuals forces many to seek housing in drug related <br />areas where housing seems more affordable. Being the only one of its kind in the Chapel <br />Hill vicinity, The Abundant Life Center is well positioned tv attract incoming <br />"Low-income high risk" individuals who so desperately need help in obtaining affordable <br />housing while maintaining acceptable presence in their sturoutrditags. <br />The Abundant Life Center for the ernire period of fourteen years (14) of service to its <br />community, has been and is still conducting its services in a building~that is sixty five <br />(65) years old; the building is in great need of renovation which lass not been done since <br />our time of occupancy. ' <br />A grant from the Town of Chapel Hill is a much needed investment in the lives of <br />"Low-income high risk" individuals, We welcome and appreciate any amount of funding <br />that the Town of Chapel Hill .cat, afford to grant us, and we are also willing m wait to <br />receive fuerrds throup~ the Town's normal course of processing and fund appropriation. <br />The fours and affiliates of the Abundant.
