BOOK 7 PAGE 65 <br />MINUTES OF THE ORANGE COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />November 15, 1967 <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners met in adjourned session on <br />Wednesday, November 15, 1967, 8 P.M. in the courtroom at the courthouse in <br />Hillaborough, North Carolina <br />Members Present: Chairman Harvey Bennett, and Commissioners William C. Ray, <br />Carl M. Smith, Henry S. Walker and Ira A. Ward. <br />Members Absent: None <br />The purpose of this meeting was to meet with the County Planning Board for <br />the duly advertised public bearing on rezoning. Requests had been received from <br />Clyde Bowden and James R. Forlow for rezoning a designated residential area to a <br />trailer park area. <br />Chairman Bennett turned the chair over to Dr. C. T. Aaylor, Chairman of the <br />County Planning Board, who proceeded to conduct this public hearing. <br />For reference to the items and business conducted at this public hearing <br />you are hereby referred to the minutes of the County Planning Board. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board said public <br />hearing was adjourned. <br />C. Gattis, Acting Clerk <br />------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />MINUTES OF THE ORANGE COON= <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />November 16, 1967 <br />The Orange County Board of Commissioners met Thursday, November 16, 1967 <br />at 3 P.M. <br />Members Present: Chairman Harvey Bennett, and Commissioners Carl M. Smith, <br />Henry_ S. Walker and Ira A. Ward. <br />Members Absent: Commissioner William C. Ray, who was attending a.State <br />Welfare Board meeting in Raleigh. <br />This meeting was called for the purpose of discussing with the Durham County <br />Commissioners the proposed boundary line agreement. No decision, as to the <br />proper placement, of the proposed boundary line between the counties was reached. <br />The Durham County Commissioners wanted to see the survey of the Norther portion <br />of the boundary line before they made their decision.
